The male demand for paid sex fuels the sexist, racist, and classist institution of prostitution. It is this lack of women's equality manifested in prostitution that is the most important issue affecting Canada-Asia relations.

Great video Cherry!!!!! This message needs to be heard throughout Canada as we need to stop this demand that fuels the sex industry. Canada needs to position itself in regards to prostitution and look at what Sweden has done. Again great work and thanks for putting this crucial and important message on the public place.

Thank you for creating this important and powerful video that centers the voices of Aboriginal women and other women of color, and challenges the sexual use and abuse of the most vulnerable in our communities. More people need to hear these voices!

I just read "Tokyo Vice", the amazing story of an American working in Japan as a guian, or "foreign" reporter on the crime beat. He whipped the curtain off of Japan's prostitution ring, exposing government indifference and vast cultural differences towards the illegal sex trade. Authour: Adelstein. Great book! Huge issue.

I agree with the abolition stance! Legalization will protect pimps, gangs and traffickers as ‘business men’ and the purchasing of flesh, (called slavery) becomes the buyers right and is diverted from being the human rights issue that is truly is.
It is society’s attitude to women that must change. Let Canada become a human rights leader!
Prostitution IS the oldest oppression.
I am glad that this is being put on the table.

A really important message. It brings attention to a serious issue. Canada can play a role in protecting women... and even more so: children.
