Canada, as a multicultural country, is welcoming more and more immigrants. Asians who make up the majority of newcomers to Canada cross oceans to settle on the other side of the world. Integrating into a new environment with different customs is challenging for newcomers.
In future, the goal of developing a multicultural society is not just to open the door to accept more Asian immigrants. Canadians must open their hearts to feel what immigrants feel and to build bridges to help Asian immigrants to cross over and leap the cultural gap.

Hello Friend. I enjoyed the video - good creative shots and a strong message. Ming and I (language learning video) run a group called "Let's Help You" that helps build friendships and community between international friends and Canadians. The two key focuses are 1) building confidence in language via one-on-one matches, and 2) monthly events to introduce international friends to Canadian culture (ie. Halloween Warm-up party, holiday party, new years party). Please check out our site: www.letshelpyou.org . If you are really interested in helping friends make this leap - we would be happy to help you create a LHY community in your area.
Best wishes,
Michael
