It's important to have complete representation for Asian culture & history in the Canadian media, as we're more then just the stereotyped clichés we're often exposed to.
It's part of being Canadian. We're a nation built by immigrants. And it’s obvious when we look in the mirror that there’s a deeper history of the people we come from, and it’s up to us to know more about it, whether the information is readily available or not.

Hi Smiling Ninja Tribe!
Please check this Asian independent TV broadcaster: NTD TV www.ntdtv.com
Stands for New Tang Dynasty Television. Was set up few years ago in New York by a group of overseas Chinese who wanted the world to know about the true China and the true Chinese culture, that has been lost and destroyed during the cultural revolution. Now NTD has correspondents worlwide providing news in many asian and western languages. They also have amazing programs for both an Asian and Western audience, to help bridge both cultures.
By the way, have you thought of starting off your own online TV station?
You just need a website, and you seem to have access to a great studio, plus you have lots of imagination and great sense of humor!
Don't wait for the media to change, be the change!
Best of luck, xolga
